For those who don't tune in regularly, 'In the Pit' features a 'Brick' to kick off the second hour, which features a few songs by the same artist to highlight their place in the genre and music's history. Seeing as most Punk and sub-genre songs tend to be fast and short, this allows the listeners to hear more of those who made Punk Rock what it is today, and is usually followed by more detailed information about the band or artist during the following talk-break.

Each 'Brick' is limited to 3 Songs per our Rules, but may also feature a Solo performance or another band covering one of the featured act's songs when possible. These segments were also the basis for the occasional 'Ton of Bricks' Special Edition Shows held every 2-3 Months.
